Former Franklins supermarkets convert to IGA

Four former Franklins Supermarkets have been converted to the IGA banner in the last few weeks.

Stores at Jannali, Ramsgate, Spit Junction and Sutherland have joined  the network of more than 1,400 independent outlets across Australia.

Commenting on the new Sutherland IGA, store manager Tracy Forbes said, “We are really pleased with the conversion over to IGA and feel that out customers are really happy about it also, as they can already see the benefits.

“Being an IGA has now allowed us to offer an expanded range of products, while continuing to offer really competitive pricing to give shoppers a great deal for their groceries, with our excellent customer service,” she added.

The stores will also incorporate IGA’s very successful Community Chest program, which guarantees a percentage from every purchase of products displaying the Community Chest ticket collected by the store and then given back to the community.
