Australian Radio Network (ARN) is getting set to launch three new digital radio stations as the medium celebrates its third birthday in Australia.

From tomorrow, a dedicated DAB+ and online station for American music festival iHeart Radio Music Festival (iHR2 Festival) will launch as Mix 90s becomes a stand-alone DAB+ station.

ARN will also launch Chemist Warehouse Remix, following last year’s launch of Chemist Warehouse Mix90's.

The iHR2 Festival station will air interviews and music with performing artists up until the Festival which can be heard live and time-shifted on September 21 and 22.

The concert, which features Taylor Swift, Pink and Swedish House Mafia among others, will also be played on the Mix Network on September, 23 from 8pm.

Duncan Campbell (pictured), ARN’s national content director, said: “The 2011 festival was broadcast in America to an overwhelming response on more than 800 radio stations across the Clear Channel Network. (Clear Channel is a 50% shareholder in ARN.) ARN are now thrilled to bring this content exclusively to Australian audiences.

“With the popularity of On air with Ryan Seacrest that airs nationally on the MIX network, we know our audiences enjoy relevant content from the US and this highlights ARN’s capacity to deliver strong, unique content to our audiences on multiple platforms.”
