Yahoo!7 has a new chief executive with Stuart Sayers promoted to the role vacated by Rohan Lund last month.
Sayers has been the chief operating officer (COO) since joining the joint venture in February, with his appointment part of a succession plan, after Lund was promoted to the COO role at Seven West Media.
He has 20 years experience in management roles, and has previously been involved with ANZ, ETrade, as well as an eight-year stint with McKinsey & Company where he was a consultant on business strategy.
Rose Tsou, Senior Vice President of Yahoo!’s Asia Pacific region said: “Yahoo!7 is a business with a culture of innovation, partnership and success.
“I’m confident that Stuart’s strong leadership and the experience of the Yahoo!7 executive management team will help take Yahoo!7 into its next phase of growth.”
Sayers added: “Since I joined Yahoo!7, I’ve been extremely impressed and energised by the great work already being done and the range of opportunities that lie ahead for the business in a rapidly changing industry.
