Apple opens two new retail stores in Canberra, Perth

Apple Australia will open its first Retail Store in Canberra this Saturday (8 September 2012) at 10am.

"The Apple Store, Canberra, will be open soon so you can shop, test-drive our products, ask questions, attend free workshops and much more. Come in and check out iPad, iPhone, Mac and iPod. Get the most out of your new Mac with One to One. Or meet with our Business Team.
And if you’re one of our first 1,000 customers, you’ll take home a commemorative Tshirt," reads the template invite sent out by Apple, with only the location changed.

The Canberra store is located inside the Canberra Centre at 148 Bunda Street. This Centre is also home to an Apple Premium Reseller Mac 1 store, as well as a JB Hi-Fi and a Dick Smith Powerhouse.

Three hours after the Canberra store opening, when it's 10am in Perth, Apple will open its Garden City store at 125 Risely Street, Booragoon. It's a big weekend for Western Australia, with the West Coast Eagles hosting North Melbourne in an AFL semifinal and the Fremantle Dockers travelling to Geelong for their own date with destiny.
