Tech Enhancements Top Priority for US Retailers


A 2012 Retail Redefined survey of more than 100 US retail industry leaders, Investing For Success Through 2015, revealed that implementation of technology enhancements (80.3%) is the top strategy for addressing change through 2015.

Respondents said that these enhancements are designed to enhance and expand their sales channels, more efficiently manage their customer relationship and provide flexibility to adapt to a changing marketplace with the areas of focus being mobile, online channels, inventory and customer relationship management.

Increasing profitability in the face of increased competition to attract and retain customers with growing influence and expectation are the key internal and external drivers behind this strategic direction.
